Welcome to the Lincoln Camera Club! LCC is one of the oldest photography clubs in Nebraska—established in 1933. We are a group of enthusiastic photographers who have an interest in and love of photography. Our goal is to work to improve our own photographic skills while helping others do the same. Our members make photographs with everything from film cameras to cell phones to extensive DSLR camera/lens collections—and everything in between.

We welcome all ages with a varying range of interests and talents to attend our meetings. Our monthly meetings are a great opportunity to develop new skills through practical demonstrations, speakers, hands-on activities and regular club competitions. Additional activities may include picnics, photo walks, workshops and other field trips or excursions. The highlights of the year are our Annual Holiday Dinner and our Annual May Salon/Banquet. Our Salon showcases and awards our members’ best photographic work for the year. There is no charge to attend the meetings, but you must become member to take part in LCC activities and competitions. You can become a member any time throughout the year.

Whether you take family snapshots, travel photos or fine art images, you will find a magnitude of inspiration to create great images at the Lincoln Camera Club!

LCC is affiliated with the North Central Camera Club Council (N4C), a ten-state Midwest association of camera clubs, and the Photographic Society of America (PSA), a national and world-wide organization.

Local Competitions: Unless noted, LCC hosts digital photography competitions. LCC members are invited and encouraged to participate as a way to learn and grow their photography skills. There are generally four categories in which to enter images. Contact the Competition Chair if you ever need to reset your password.

Annual Local Competition: Each year in May, LCC hosts a year-end photo competition. The top three images of each monthly competition category during the year are automatically entered into this competition. Winners of this “Best of the Best” competition are announced at LCC’s Annual May Salon & Banquet.
